Hi - I have MPLABX 3.55 with PBP Plugin 3.1.0.1 installed.

Every time I open MPLABX it announces that an update to the PBP Plugin is available.

It says: "The following plugins will be updated: PBP Tool Chain [3.1.0.1 -> 3.1.0.2]"

When I click "Next" it downloads and installs and tells me to restart MPLABX to complete the installation.

But when MPLABX restarts, it once again tells me that the update is available. It did not successfully install but gives no error message.

Anybody else have this issue?

Nevermind...

Researching this issue, I discovered that there was a later version of MPLABX (3.61).

Updating MPLABX allowed the PBP Plugin to install.

Does syntax highlighting work?
I'm stuck with 2.35. I tried few newer versions but lot of thing's doesn't work, so I just give up from updates, and stuck with what I can use...

Ooops...I was wrong.

Given a bit of time, the latest version of MPLABX still won't update the plugin to 3.1.0.2. Darn.

The PBP project compiles and runs in MPLABX v3.61. I can set breakpoints and step. Interestingly, I don't see syntax highlighting in the .pbp file but I see it in the included .inc file.

That's not a deal breaker for me...I wonder if changing the .pbp extension to .bas would enable syntax highlighting? Or does Netbeans provide a way to see a .pbp file as a source file for highlighting purposes?

Still can't get MPLABX to install the 3.1.0.2 plugin, even though it tells me it's available and seems to install it....????
