Hi Guys :)


With all the different options out there, I thought it would be a good topic
to discuss different types and interfaces of external memory.

So here goes...

Personally, I like to keep things simple and use good old magnetic core memory with serial interface:

I was also wondering what hobbyists usually do for ROM?
Mask ROM is incredibly expensive for a one off project, so I assume the way to go is core rope ROM.
