hello, how can i verify that a resistor exist really (test method)

1. Look around
2. Pick up what might be resistor
3. Verify it is actually a resistor by checking resistance against know resistance tables and colour charts using Fluke (Other meters are available)
4. Replace resistor as found in the safe knowledge it was and indeed still is a resistor
