Anyone heard of a simple device that will allow 2 way comms between 2 pics over ethernet? I want to put serial in at one end and recover it as serial at the other end with some reverse data then sent. I have seen plenty of these sort of things that rely on having a PC at one end, not exactly what I want.
There's gotta be something like this somewhere??

Many of the WizNet devices (even those designed for PCB mounting) have RS232 transceivers onboard. The Wiz105SR has 0-3V levels and non-inverted logic. The WizFi210 is only $US30 if you want to go WiFi - it can do Ad Hoc (peer-to-peer) but I've no idea about range.

I use Lantronix XPorts. They work well.
