How to understand and proceed??

Are you using Micro Code Studio or MPLAB or ....

Hi likely MPLAB as per the DLL call.

I would suggest the OP to double and triple check the Melabs MPLAB tutorial.

If under Vista/7, always make sure you run and elevate privilege to Admin (which is a really dumb windows feature btw... )
