Does anyone have a code snippet/advice for playing the audio on a Keterex KX1400 audio IC using a pic chip?

I can download and play back various audio files via the KX1400 SDK and host computer. Next step will be to design a stand alone board using a pic chip to to play a sequence of preloaded audio files on command. Looking for a few lines of code or advice to initiate playback via SPI bus.

Data sheet available here: http://www.keterex.com/pubs/kx1400ds.pdf

Hi Michael,

I do have a some left, but they seem to have disappeared from the market place. Glad to hear that someone out there is also using them. How many do you require?

Best,

Bob

Hi inventor,

The KX1400 product has been sold to Conexant Systems, Inc. They have moved it over to their supply chain and sales channel, and they use NuHorizons as their distributor. I believe they discontinued the SOIC and produce only QFN now.
The problem is that the distribuitor has a minimum order of $100.
Well, if you still have some, I'd be interested on purchasing 10.

Thanks
