This is my first post and first post on this site, so i apologize for my ignorance or confusion.

I'm currently interning for a wind turbine company (I'm also just a student and the boss told me to look for help on forums so I'm not completely trying to just hand off my work to the internet). We are looking to use picbasic for a prototype. I'm really green about this whole thing. I'll try and make this easy to read through quickly so if you can help it'd be a big help.

We know we want to use pic basic, of course.
We want to be able to send information from sensors on the wind turbine to an off-site computer through the internet, which he is pushing for 4g.
We also want the off-site computer to be able to control the wind turbine.

If you guys know more information about 4g or how to connect through it, please go ahead and tell me about it or post some links.

Forget the 4G scam, hoax, whatever. I have beach property in Arizona, problem is, no WATER!!!

You might want to look into MyFi and use a serial to ethernet module.
Or if you do not want to go the MyFi route a company like this might be the ticket.

No, I do not have anything to do with them other than being a customer.
