Some years ago, Picnaut built a very useful automated backup system. It made a backup copy of your .PBP file with a time and date stamp in the file name, every time you compiled.
It has rescued me many times when a code revision has had unintended consequences that were not immediately obvious.
Recently CodeRat has stopped making backup files. A quick check reveals BasicBackUp, Picnaut's forerunner to CodeRat, is still functioning however this program must be explicitly started for each programming session whereas CodeRat started automatically when windows started.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
