Remote control help

Hi,

Im trying to get my remote control (garage door type) to operate a piezo buzzer running on a button/coin type battery. ( to miniaturise it to the max) but Im having no luck at all!!!!!

Has anyone got any ideas as Im going round in circles and am on the verge of getting my hammer and killing the whole idea physically :(
