I've used quite a few DS275 RS232 -> TTL converter chips in the past. I see they are now a discontinued part. Anyone familiar with a similar chip? I really liked the fact it required no external components and was available in a 8 pin soic package. I know it didn't generate true RS232 levels, but was a super little chip.
Thanks,
Steve

How about the classic MAX232 chip made by most companies?

Or the MAX233. No externals.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I liked the simplicity of the DS275, small pin count and that no external parts were required. Sometimes I can't see the forest........
