When you are using regressions, you need to know the general shape of the function. What is the general shape and how can you tell the difference between a variation function and an exponential function?

Hi,
Your question has no sense ... ( add no link to PBP compiler nor ...)
have a look here: http://curveexpert.webhop.net/ at first.
a variation function ( might we understand DERIVATIVE function ???) has NOTHING common with an exponential function ...
so, ... try to think a bit to your question before asking ... how to say ??? ... a question that can't have answers ...
