Has anyone experience with the SDI-12 protocol intended for simple low power battery powered data acquisition systems? It is open source and available from www.sdi-12.org. It looks quite simple but no doubt has the odd trap for the newbie. I am looking for someone who might have actually used it for real data acquisition.
