hi,
plz help me out on this...

i am doing a project in 3ph acim control open loop...
actually i found a open loop program in microchip site under AN900. but its program is done for their development board 'picdem mc'. its very costly so i started making my own circuit, as its ciruit diagram was given in same AN900.

their they have used a oscillator HC- 49US , i cant find it any where what can i replace it with? its a parallel cut with two 33pf capacitors

plz check the circuit diagram and help me out ( its in AN900 page15 in microchip site )

It amazes me why people don't use search engines like Google.

HC-49US is the package type of a crystal - It's typically has values of 4MHz - to 20Mhz when used with PICs

Check the 18F4431 datasheet for info on the value you need. (page 23)

If you're stuck on a part showing HC-49US, and building a 3-Phase AC Induction Motor Using the PIC18F4431 , you may want to seek assistance before building or connecting that device to 3-phase power lines..;o)

No offense, really..! Please be careful. Things can go-like-splat really quick when messing with 3-phase mains.
