darrels instant interrupt problem

Trying to use this with vista32bit & says source directory is read only when I try to compile. Have pbp 2.50. Followed microsofts directions to make it not read only and that didn't work. Compiles fine on my XP machine.

On one of my Vista machines I turned off the UAC as it was getting on my nerves with the warning messages that prevent me from doing the obvious, using my computer.

Shut that off first day installed. Very annoying

I tried vista for a month or so then gave the machine away. In that time I found that my project directory had to be no more than two levels deep from "C".

No wonder! Now find a good old XP/SP2 cd and make it up again with that person...

Seriously now, I had some issues on the new laptop with Vista, but now is all OK. At the end of the day, I can say that the environment of the new OS is impressive but not very functional. Call me old fashioned but I work much more quickly with the XP. Also you make more mistakes on the new OS because it lacks clarity in menus, selections etc.

Fixed, file can't be on desktop. Needed to be in folder on desktop. Very user friendly OS. HA HA
