My task is to design a remote clock-in system using a ER400TRS transceiver module. On the tx side, the PIC16F877A is used to store id no.'s(bytes) which have to be transferred over a wireless link.
In order to simulate such a clock-in system, it is my intention to use a simple nested delay loop to simulate several id no's on the same circuitry. Manchester encoding also has to be implemented.
On the other hand i have to implement the receiving circuitry (range 250meters), manchester decoding, look-up table in PIC to convert the id no. (byte) to a string (persons name), gather time and date from RTC (ds1307) using i2c protocol and then output to PC via RS232 (MAX232) and display the info in visual basic.
If anyone can give me advice of where to start, or useful links, schematics or even sample code it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
