View Full Version : suitable resistance values to hold PIC12f635 pins to the ground

Hi
Could you please tell me some suitable resistance values to hold PIC12f635 pins to the ground. I would preffer to use the highest values possible as to prevent the current consumption when pin is externally made high by button press.

I use 100K pull-up/pull-downs on a regular basis.

I use 22K, which seems to correspond with what a PIC thinks is a "weak" pullup/pulldown. At 5 VDC, that's about 230 uA. When I've tried 100K, I've sometimes had noise issues.
