hi everyone...
I've salvaged a 1.8 inch LCD module out of a vivitar vivicam5385...
I've done a search for all the number on the module with no luck

numbers are as follows,
189000048
5 07 29 L5
C018THEB6
532N1AA0033066 B
J5800610A01A.13

On the ribon, 4 of the cores a thicker than the rest so i'd say they are power... looking ferther up the ribon, one of those stops, so that leaves 3...
Their a two core gap between the data lines and the power...
theirs 24 cores that i believe are data lines... 16 X 8?

The 'user guide' says the following...

1.8” LTPS color LCD
High-resolution 130K pixels display

i would have thaught it possible to be able to use it with a PIC, but i need the datasheet...
Anyone now where i could find the datasheet, or does anyone have any ifo about these types of LCD's?

Thanks muchly

Did you try calling Vivitar and finding out where the nearest repair center to you is located?

Then just go there and ask one of the technicians if they can tell you who the manufacturer of the module is and then you can contact that manufacturer for the datasheet.

Also, the tech may be able to get that info for you from the service manual.

Good luck.
