Hi,
I'm after purchasing some software for circuit design
I'm after something with an extensive part library and an easy to use interface.
What applications do you use?

We hear good comment at least on Eagle, Easy-PC and DipTrace. They should have their respective demo, so, try them and see how comfortable you're with.

I tried Eagle, and found it rather difficult and non-intuitive to use. (for me at least) I finally gave up on it.
I've never tried Easy-PC.
I'm currently using DipTrace and like it quite a lot. It's got a few bugs still, but they're working on it...
It's also available as freeware (non-profit use only) with a 2-layer, 250 pin limit so it's easy to download it and take it for a test drive.

Easy PC is intuitive and capable of complex designs. I did a 6 layer design without any hastle. There is a tech support line which is excellent as well.

They have a demo available for download.
See what you think.
Automatic routing (prorouter) is an option thats well worth the money. Saves hours of work.

Do check out DipTrace.
They have a free version of 250 Pins
but if you send them an email they have a not for profit version which is 500 pins for free.
