Hi,
I am trying to use a PIC16F946 TQFP (they don't make it PDIP) with my breadboard to test a PBP program I wrote but obviously it won't work. Is there any socket type interface for this TQFP chips out there so I can test my programs?

I have looked for this in different web sites but they only have simulation boards which are very expensive and that I don't need.

Thank you for your help,

Robert

Hi rsocor01,

Why don't you look at www.microcontroller.com. They have many different types of QFP class adaptor boards. You'll probably have to by a pack of 10 but at least there is someone out there that has them. I just found Schmartboard.com. I was looking for them first. They sell single boards. Again look at the section QFP boards.
