Default Low Power Transmitter in a TO39 Package

    Hello All,

Does anyone know of a supplier (UK preferably) or manufacturer for the transmitter unit used in wireless doorbells etc. It seems to be a self contained part packaged in a TO39 (a flat TO5 case).

I remember seeing a datasheet on the internet many months ago but have lost the link!

    Thanks,
    Bob

Hmmm. I think what you are talking about is a SAW resonator which is effectively a crystal. A full transmitter in a can?? I'd like to see that too.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. But the part was definitely a transmitter. From what I remember it required no external xtal or inductors just a tuned aerial circuit. Will keep on searching.
