    Default Color sensor distance problem

    Hi,

I want to detect three colors(RGB) by using a circuit.I tried LDR and three leds(red, green, blue) but they are not sensitive. For example I can not detect colors more than 5 cm away.It should detect at least 10 cm away from LDR.

What do you suggest?Should I use other thing?

Ambient light sensitive photo diode is the way to go.

Many different versions available in the market, arkadaşım.

    Hi burak450,
I scrapped out a video camcorder once, it had a unit composed of 3 chambers, 3 colored filters and 3 light sensors, presumably used for color correction, the filters were as you might have guessed red blue green. This unit was mounted on the front top of the camera above the lens.
