    Smile Bird sounds???

    Hi guys,

Is there anyway diagrams to make a bird sounds with a 16f628?

This would be great if i could see the code in pbp before it has been compiled to hex.

    Thanks so much

    Regards.

Sure can. The SOUND command is right there waiting to be used.

But what does a bird sound like on a PIC?

i guess it would depend of the bird type. Some are easy to reproduce.

At least record it, use a wav editor to determine the frequency and the duration of each different sounds/freq sweep... if any.

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.

    Cheers guys.

It was the diagram more then anything i would like to see how to set it up.

I didnt think a pizzo could make a tweating bird sound, it sounds a bit mechanial.

    Cheers.

To me a LM386 and a speaker will cover many possibilities.

Depending the volume you want to have, a single 10-47uF capacitor between a PIC i/o and a speaker could also work.
