    mister_e, do you have a pattern to connect the nokia 3210 output pin (6 pins) to the communication port 1? I'm really new to this...

    It's right there in the datasheet. What more do you want?

    Thumbs up thanks again mister_e

    I appreciate taking time to give the information. What I'm trying to do is to use a 3210 data cable(switch F/Bus) to COM1. But unfortunately I can't find the cable I need(I'm in a rural area). The one that I see at the cellphone store the data cable at one end has RJ45 connector not Female com connector. I need to use it to send sms information(command) to cellphone attached to the pc and register to my database application and to switch a load(ex. motor) from the parallel port. (Just an experiment for school).
