    Default more information on CMCON?

    where can I find more information on what CMCON does?

    to quote the PBP manual:

    "This makes the pin functions on PORTA work in an unexpected manner. To change the pins to digital, simply add the line:

    CMCON = 7

    "

    ok, so 7 sets PORTA to digital ... is that a decimal 7 then? what other values can cmcon have?

    Go to the Chip Data (of the chip you are using) sheet, and look under comparator... It will give you all 8 modes the comparator can be in, and the entire works.
