PBP upgrade queries

Hi all.
Have just upgraded my PBP to 2.47. (installed into D:\pbp)
Have also upgraded to MCS 2.3.0.0 (installed in C:\mequanic\mcs)
Have deleted all in C:\pbp

When I run MCS (the new one) I still cannot see any reference to the new PICs that are in the PBP list of chips covered. EG I cannot select (or even find in the select dropdown) 12F509, even though it is in the PBP directory???

Can't damn well work this out???

I'm just about to re-install MCS again and see if that does anything....stay tuned.

Back again...Still no joy.
All the chips are in the PBP directory, but can't see any reference to them in the Code Studio diectory. Where does Code Studio look for (and find) its list of supported chips????

If you have the necessary .INC & .BAS files, add the PIC(s) to pic.ini in the MCS folder.

muddy0409, When I installed the newest MCSP 2.3.0.0 I noticed the inc. files are in C:\Program Files\Mecanique\mcsp\MPASM. I am running XP and this is a clean installation. I also have the latest version of PBP 2.47. The inc. files for PBP are in C:\pbp\inc. Are you sure the installation was clean?

you use HDD C and D ??? ... or is it typo ???

Now "mequanic" doesn't sound very friendly to me ... check the spelling.

and try to install those 'linked" programs the closiest as possible one from the other.
