Microcode Studio tooltip descriptions gone?

    Default Microcode Studio tooltip descriptions gone?

    Not sure what has happened to my system but MicrocodeStudio was working perfectly and when I hovered the mouse over the toolbar icons I got the tooltip pop up ok. Now they've gone. Yes I did install some other apps, notably a complete version of Adobe Acrobat with a load of bloat settings and registry entries so I guess something in these installs has wiped out part of Microcode. Unfortunately I can't uninstall what I've installed as I need these extra apps for some new work.
    Has anyone else seen this problem with Microcode Studio? The tooltips are still working within XP SP1 and all my other apps so I am totally mystified why they should just disappear from one application. I really would like to get them back.

    how about de-install MCS then re-install it?

    Never had ANY bugs with MCS.

    Tried that twice but didn't make any difference. Can't understand why whatever has happened to my system only affects MCS.
