Default A better Search tool for the Forum

    WOW! 19 votes with a 5.0 average.
Beats any of my other threads.

Well, in return, all I can do is try to make a "Better Search tool" ...

Using google's relatively new "Custom Search", even more Relevant results can be found.
Not only from this forum, but from many years of the original PICBASIC-L mailing list (I was there), as well as rentron.com and a few others.

Plunk in the chip ... "PIC16F877A" and it'll show a link to the datasheet too. (usually)

    Give it a try ...
    Searching sites ...

    picbasic.co.uk/forum
    melabs.com/resources
    www.rentron.com
    list.picbasic.com
    and a few others

Add this search engine to your
    Google homepage:
    http://www.pbpgroup.com/Search/plus_google.gif

Unless I pay google $100 a year (ain't happening), they put adds in it. Just ignore them.

If you know of sites that you think should be included in the search for "PicBasic Pro" code, let me know.

Just in case you got used to the old "better search tool" ... it's still here.

    Search WWW Search picbasic.co.uk

Often times the built-in vBulletin search tool gives less than desirable results, and you can spend hours searching for something that's just "Right There". It doesn't sort by relevance, and ignores words less than 4 characters in length. So if you're searching for LCD or ADC, you may never find them.

The Google "Site" search above will do a much better job.
