    Default multiple lcd's

Can multiple LCD's be hooked up to the same pic in some sort of multiplexing fashion? I know with serial you just make the CS pin high for the device you want. Can that be done here. Maybe hook all the data lines for the two diplays together, and one of the other LCD inputs will tell it that you are communicating to that one. Looking at the data sheets and manual, I am kind of doubting this can be done.
