    Default Sony Protocol help

    Hello,

I have created a circuit that recieves sony protocol. It works fine with my TV remote. However I would like to essentially create my own sony remote to replace it. It is intended to be used for a laser tag system. I am using the Sony IR protocol which is exactly what my code is set up to recieve.

My question is how would I modulate a signal at 38khz and send data just like how my remote does it. The chip I am using is the PIC 16F84A.

Any help would be appreciated I would like to solve this problem and get on with coding the rest of it.

    Thanks,
    Eric.

I've got a bit more documentation than the last time I posted here. However all my documentation was complicated. This looks really simple. I never knew that it could go beyond 32khz.

I'll try it and let everyone know how it worked out incase someone else wants to know how I solved the problem, they might have the same problem too.

    Thanks,
    Eric
