multiple serial inputs

Hi All, Well i was hoping that when someone looks at the diagram i have provided they will say " oh yeh i know how to do that here is the code" However being a realist as well i dont suppose that will happen so, would anyone have any example code that i would be able to modify or look at to help me get where i want to go as indicated in the diagramm....Please.

if you had provided a bit more details on the other thread you definitly had got a more qualified answer.

The "NMEA-Multiplexer" issue has already been discussed on this forum.
Please use the "Search"

As there is no defined timing between the different talkers I would prefer to have one (small) PIC per Talker to listen to the NMEA sentences and one "MASTER" PIC to combine the different sentences oito one telegram.

That way you don't miss any sentence from any talker, and you can easily convert sentences before you send out the combined telegram to the bus.
