    Default Step up converter

    Hey PICers,
I am working on a project that requires a 3.3volt supply but has room only for a single 1.5 volt AA cell. I mentioned a 3.6 volt Lithium, but for transportation, there are severe limitations on these little gems. This is part of a wireless mesh project, and the converter needs to be quieter than the average switching boost converter. I have used the Seiko SOT package devices, but they can be very noisy depending on load and battey power. Any ideas among you brilliant designers out there? Efficiency and small size are very important.

    Thanks,
    Ron
