Default MCU with ICSP instead of PGD/PGC

I try to program MCU with ICSP programming pin but MPLAB X return "The circuit on your board may require you to slow the speed down. Please change the setting in the tool properties to low and try the operation again"

I had tried changing the config for all the available clock speed setting but all return the same error massage, while using a MCU with PGD/PGC I came program it succesfully

    MCU used is PIC16F57
    Programmer PICKIT 4

    please help

PICKit4 probably killed your PIC16F57. In the Eratta for the PICKit4 it mentions putting a 100 ohm resistor in series with the ICSP pins. Apparently the PICKit4 outputs a higher voltage than the older PICs can tolerate. Look it up.
