    Default 12F508 question...

I have a fistful of 12C508s and was wondering if the new 12F508 can be used to develop software for these, similar to using a windowed version of the C508. Sure would be a time saver not having to wait for IR erasing thereof?

Yes you can. I did it often.

One thing i never test, is to select 12C508 on a 12F508 at programming and compilation time. But i feel it could work...

    BTW Did you notice that???

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.

Oh yeah, I did, but obviously it didn't sink in.
