    Default Need low Profile LCDs

Does anyone know of any suppliers in the USA (or doesnt have high shipping rates to the states) that have low profile character LCD? I have been looking for TAB or COG 16-20 x 2-4 character displays but I havent found anything as of yet.

Define "Low Profile"... are you referring to the physical dimensions of the module or do you mean something else?

    See this URL:

(In order to see the picture you will need to install the Flash plug-in).

    What about your TTY Terminal?

    Best regards,

I have been really busy the past few months. I have had some relationshop problems, job related situations, school, and i had to move into a new apartment. I havent gotten a chance to start working on it. Im in the process of putting together a parts list for a "PIC Development Kit" so I can get started in PIC Code. Im really eager to get working with PIC BASIC, but between no money, and no time, I just havent been able to go anywhere with it.

Thanks for the links, thats exactly what im looking for. I just need something thats NOT a bulky screen... My only problem is that im in the USA, and all of the companies mention'd so far are international. Shipping is going to be horrible for me.

    Hi,

I used a serial 16x2 cog display in a job I did 18 months ago. I got them from Future Electronics, right here in the US. They probably have parallel versions too.

    www.futureelectronics.com

If you dont have any luck on the website, pm me and I'll get in touch with you and get a hold of my account rep.

They have a LOT of stuff, and they are in the US.

    Default Inexpensive Parts

You can also try www.allelectronics.com or one of my favorite sites: www.rentron.com. Both these sites are good sources in the US. You should try to purchase from the site you purchased your pic basic from, if at all posible first. I know when I need basic support or have problems, these are the people I go to first, so it's only fair to give them the business first.
