I have aa AC motor which gets its current through a relay with a capacitor in series between the relay and the motor.
The motor is appx 150Watts and I think because of the capacitor the relay gets stuck sometimes. My understanding is that since capacitor gets charged rapidly when relay switches on, it is at that time the relay gets stuck due to large inrush current.
I would like to know if there is any component which exist which can control this inrush. The relay itself has a rating of 7Amp so as far as I can avoid this sudden rush, I should be ok with this setup.
