I first started in electronics nearly a decade ago. I quickly moved on to PICs with the 16F628 and 16F877 thanks to several of the posters here. Now my favorite PICs are the 18F2xK22 and 18F4xK22 series, and the 18F2550/4550 series.

I'm still on PBP v2.60C and loving it. My current project has an 18F4550 (USB) running at 48MHz, talking with 6 slaves at 115,200 baud running at 64MHz on the internal oscillator. I gotta say, I'm impressed. Thank you Microchip for making fun thingies to play with.

And I have to thank Crownhill for these forums; a real encyclopedia of schematics, explanations and code examples. While I'm at it, thanks to all the people here that helped me. I'd still be putzing on configs if I had tried to do it alone.
