    Default Another 18F1320 ICD confusion

    Hi All!
So there is a PIC program that someone else wrote that I am trying to get to work. Dannel was good enough to post a wonderful ICD program that works really great! Thanks Dannel! So I started by creating a simple "blink an LED" program so I know that except for this program an 18F1320 will work and that everything else is set up and configured correctly. So I go to compile this program, it compiles without any errors, program the 18F1320 and as far as I can seem to get is for everything to run up to the very first line of code "TRISB = %10000001 : TRISA.3 = 0". Then the ICD stops and will not restart and only gives the message I have grown to hate "ICD Connection Timeout". Now unless you re-compile and try running it again, nothing seems to run! There are two CONFIG sections in the program below, the first (commented out) will allow things to start up, the second goes directly to the connection timeout error! At this point I am beyond simple confusion. Thanks in advance, Ed

Default Re: Another 18F1320 ICD confusion

try to get rid of those multiple statement on a single line, probably the ICD can't process it....

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
