Default EasyPic5, PicFlash2 and hex files

I am away from home and have been asked to download some hex files into a 16F88 using a PicFlash 2 programmer built into EasyPic5. I believe the hex files include all the instructions for the configuration settings, but cannot see a way of disabling these on the programmer. I am not familiar with the hardware.

Can anyone please tell me which takes precedent for the configuration settings ie the programmer settings or the instructions embedded in the hex file and what happens if there is a conflict between the two.

    Many thanks

    David

I've never experimented any conflict with PICFlash, One thing for sure, the .HEX will win.

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.

Thanks Steve, that should save me some time.
