Spooked code lines

I use CD lite ver 1.6 build 3. It usually works great but I have noticed strange behaviour lately. A single code line seems to get "spooked" and generates error messages even if the code seems correct. It can be 10 lines of "Pause 1500" where one of the lines signals "syntax error". It doesn´t matter if I put in another line of code above moving the erroneous code line further down, it is still the same in order (I.E. the 7:th line of Pause 1500 ) that flags error.
Any clues to what this can be? Should I just upgrade CDlite?
