Some PIC's have only one pin labeled CCP1 and others have both a CCP1 and CCP2. Is there a difference in how CCP1 and CCP2 are used? Is there any advantages to CCP2, where available over using CCP1?

Some can be tied to a timer. You will need to refer to the data sheet for the chip.
