This fie is needed under certain circumstances.

According to the manual of the PBP, the modedefs.bas is needed only when you use commands like serin or serout and have mode names like the T2400.

Otherwise you do not need to include it.

    Check the book.

Hey, I wonder; doesn't that file come on the CD when you buy PicBasic? Let me go check (dumpity-dumpity-doh - crash)... uh huh, here it is!

You can download it here: http://store.melabs.com/prod/software/PBC.html

Well, I usually say once something as much clear I can. If you have seen my post sure you can confirm that.

Although I do not have to explain why the EXACTLY same post has appeared 2 times, I can't resist.

At the moment I had some connection problems and while I thought I had posted the eply, it seeme I did not. So I hit the Submit button again. Then I realized that the DSL was down.

Since there is not an option to remove the second post (Only Moderators/Admins can, and please DO so), we have to tolerate the case.

You can go here and download the demo version of PBP
    http://melabs.com/pbpdemo.htm

Or you can try this one. It is free.
