I have just reloaded my pc and upgraded to MPLAB 8.40 with PBP 2.46 but can not get any of my programs to compile is there any one who can give me advice?

Just Upgrade PBP to V 2.60 ... ( worth it, BTW )
or " Down grade " MPLAB to 8.15.
No other solution ... except use MCS !!!
