    Default pic16c62a replacement

    i need to replace a pic16c62a and want to know what is the currently available pic that will do. i belive the 16c62 is now obsolete
    any help greatly recieved as i am self teaching

    According to http://www.chipcatalog.com/Microchip/PIC16C62A.htm, "A newer device is available. Please try PIC16C62B or PIC16F72."
