    Default Reserved word "EXT"

    Code:
    W1 VAR WORD EXT

    W2 VAR WORD
Can somebody explain the difference between W1 and W2?

All I know is that "EXT" is reserved word, in the PBP manual, there is no mention on how to uses it nor its function .

    Thank you for your answer.

Thank you Darrel.. very clear indeed!

Strange that the forum search function didn't show me this thread.

In my opinion, the forum search button has a flaw. There are plenty of 3 letter acronyms, and PicBasic commands, but the search tool can only search 4 letters and higher. That's one of the cool things about Darrels "Better Search Tools", it searches any number of letters.
