    Default Colour TV Display IC

Some time ago I posted a question on here, if anyone would find a use for a TV display IC, and got quite a few replies saying yes, if it were available. Well now it is available, at least one version is so far - 1000 chars max, 50 columns, 8 colours, 21 lines, I can't put a picture up here (can I?) but here's a link:

Works directly with PAL TVs via a SCART input. Can be fed into composite input TVs (PAL or NTSC) by using a modulator IC. Useful alternative to small LCD displays. Data is fed in through a single wire serial input. Selectable baud rate.

It's mainly intended for displaying bar graphs and data as it's collected, but has plenty of other uses.

If the look of the IC interests you, there is a full datasheet

Please contact me with any questions you may have. I check my hotmail account most, its gmcarnell [- a t -] hotmail.com
