    how can I publish a drawing on the forum?

    It depends on what you have.

    If it's just a picture ... when you are creating a post, scroll down a little ways and you'll see a button labeled Manage Attachments.

    From there you can upload several different formats.

    Hi Darrell, thanks for your reply.
    If I wanted to post a drawing prepared with Eagle or PCB123 the person viewing would need the program. Is there an easy way to prepare a drawing and perhaps convert to pdf or some other format to publish?
    I noticed that some people make a hand drawing, take a pic of it and send a gif file.

    It depends upon the quality you require, for lo res you can, in windows, hit the screen print key and that will attach a screen print to the clipboard which you can paste into paint, word and other programs to save it.
