Default FM Radio transmitter PIC Interface.

    Good day

I want to build a FM Radio Transmitter unit that can be interfaced with a pic to send a beep or something to a standard FM Radio on a specific frequency.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

    Hi,

You won’t be able to cover an entire hemisphere but it's a starting point.

(Some models can transmit on any FM frequency from 87.5 to 108.0).

    Best regards,

    Luciano

    Hi,

Quickest way would be to buy one of these Ipod/MP3 FM transmitter units. They are crystal controlled (PLL) with a choice of preset frequency. Connect pic to audio plug and get it to generate a bleep with a few resistors and capacitors to shape the waveform.

I have seen these FM transmitter units for £4 inc postage.
