    Default Hall effect reading

    Hi everyone!

IŽm in need to read a ratiometric hall effect sensor from Allegro (UNG3503), with a PIC12F675 and a minimum of components because of the space available.
This sensor outputs half Vdd when no magnetic field is detected (i.e. 2,5V), and increase/decrease 1,3 mV/Gauss.

Is there any "hint" to obtain readings as low as 1 Gauss only using sensor + pic, or IŽll have to use an amp.op also?

YESS ... a 1.024 v ref. would give you only 1 unit per Gauss ...

so, an amp is needed with a voltage translator to get the best of your ADC ...

gain will depend on your measuring range ...

Why insist on using 32 Bits when you're not even able to deal with the first 8 ones ??? ehhhhhh ...

IF there is the word "Problem" in your question ...
    certainly the answer is " RTFM " or " RTFDataSheet " !!!
