    Default Anyone working with the MRF24J40MA's?

    I ordered 2 of these new Microchip RF transceivers. I think I'm in way over my head. I haven't started anything yet, though I did want to make an airborne data link for R/C airplanes. Microchip's web site has little discussion and a few AN's. The AN's note that you (I) need a good understanding of Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc. and includes libraries for them.

    Do I have to become a Bluetooth or Zigbee pro to use these modules or is there a way I can just use this as a data link, as in data in and data out?
    No, I'm not Superman, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

    I also am working with two MRF24j40a products. I have a clasic "bit banger" device, so I am writing C/C++ code from the Microchip's MRF24j40 data sheet. If you manage to make your devices work, then may I have a listing of what you wrote to the registers? Also what mode did you use? Beacon or non beacon? Transmission command?

    I would rather arrest highway traffic to nibble rancid road kill than try to unscramble Microchips example microcontoller code. They use very obscure varible references and encrypted syntax.

    Default MRF24j40MA C/C++

    I do not know what happened to my previous post?

    I have developed drivers for the MRF24J40 with C/C++. If you want to develop a project with this device. Email me for a copy of this class. You need to have some drivers for your particular hardware, but I have most the tedious work done.

    Default Turd World ... I think I've been there.

    I wonder if this is a typo?

    "NO software or services will be furnished to despotic turd world countries such as ....."

    *Edit: Looks like he has removed that restriction policy. He now does service despotic turd world countries.
