Talking 18F452 vs PICSTART PLUS !!

    HI everybody,

I've got a problem with 18F452 and picstart plus.

    -PIC18f452
    -PBP ver 2.45
    -MPLAB ver 6.61.00.0
-MPASM ver 03.80.03 all setting to DEFAULT
-PICSTART PLUS with upgrade kit and firmware ver 4.30.1

after compiling program with MPASM ( no error reported), i load it in MPLAB ( file/import/program v100.hex) and i obtain this error message:
"the format of the file C:\...\program v100.hex can not be read or written because its extension was not recognized"
    can someone help me?

    Hi automan!

try to use project wizard and compile, build, program it.

    you must install language toolsuite.

this is suppose to work. new MPLAB 6.62.

can you just rename it to see what happen???

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
